The
Wedding Crashers (Uncorked Edition) –
Scientists say we only use 10 percent of our brains but I think we only
use 10 percent of our hearts. “Wedding Crashers” starring
Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, Christopher Walken and Will
Ferrell. Wilson and Vaughn play two divorce mediators who crash weddings
searching to seduce women made vulnerable by the wedding ceremony and
booze. Wilson and Vaughn are a hilarious duo in this movie. The "Uncorked"
edition of Wedding Crashers adds about 8 minutes of footage to the theatrical
release. Of chief interest are extended beach and bathroom scenes between
Vince Vaughn and Isla Fisher, and Vaughn's extended confession to Father
O'Neil (Henry Gibson), but there are also new scenes featuring Keir
O'Donnell as the eccentric Todd and Ellen Albertini Dow as the potty-mouthed
grandmother. This edition is billed as unrated because it wasn't resubmitted
to the MPAA, but the sexier bathroom scene and coarser confession aren't
particularly raunchier than the original film, and there's no additional
nudity. You can watch the Uncorked edition once to see the new footage,
but for subsequent viewings you'll probably choose to stick with the
theatrical release, which is also included on the DVD.
Wedding
Singer – Adam Sandler plays Robbie Hart a suburban
wedding singer who gets dumped at the altar. Drew Barrymore plays Julia
the waitress who is engaged to the wrong guy. If you love the 80’s
than you will love the abundant references to the MTV culture of 1985.
Just gives me the warm fuzzies!!
There’s
Something About Mary – Cameron Diaz stars as Mary,
every guy’s ideal girl. Ben Stiller plays Ted a high school geek
who never had the opportunity to go to the prom with Mary due to an
unusual accident. Ted discovers after thirteen years he still has a
crush on Mary so he hires a private investor played by Matt Dillon to
track her down. Will Ted survive a bunch of psychotic suitors, a miserable
little pooch and a murder charge to be able to be with Mary?
Moonstruck
– Cher plays Loretta Castorini a Brooklyn bookkeeper whose husband
died in a bus accident several years earlier. Loretta decides it is
time to get married again so she picks a stable middle-aged business
man who she feels is a safe bet. When her fiancé leaves town
to attend to his terminally ill mother, she visits his estranged younger
brother (Nicolas Cage) and is astonished by the strong mutual attraction
between them. Best line delivered by Olympia Dukakis (Rose), “when
you love them, they drive you crazy because they know they can.”
And that my friend is amore!!
Splash
– Daryl Hannah plays Madison a mermaid who comes to Manhattan
in search of Tom Hanks (Allen Bauer) a man she saved twice from drowning.

fish!” proclaims Allen Bauer. Can love succeed between man and
fish?

a job as a part time bartender. Douglas Koglan (played by Brian Brown)
teaches him the secrets of the trade and they become the most famous
bar men in town. The two men learn about booze, greed, love and life.
Coglan’s Law: Anything else is always something better. Never

always hear you!
